Technical Designer
American Society of Interior Designers
Our client, a popular fashion brand, is looking for a TEMPORARY technical designer to join their Los Angeles, CA team! Responsibilities Develop technical specifications: Create detailed tech packs including construction details, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs). Ensure proper fit: Lead fittings and provide feedback on drape, fit, and proportions. Collaborate with others: Work with designers, production teams, and factories to ensure that each design is executed accurately. Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve fit and construction issues in a timely and professional manner. Stay up to date: Research new materials, technologies, and trends. Manage projects: Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Requirements 3+ years of technical design experience. Must be willing to work freelance.
