Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to follow simple instructions and safety rules. Experience Requirements Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, healthcare, or a production environment is helpful but not required. Willingness to learn laundry procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Safety-focused with attention to detail. Comfortable handling soiled linens and following biohazard safety procedures. Available to work every other weekend as scheduled. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds throughout the shift. Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, and stand for 8 to 10 hours per day. Able to handle heavy laundry loads and work in a busy laundry environment. Comfortable working around soiled linens and potential biohazards. Training is provided. Job Duties Sort, wash, and process soiled linens according to facility standards. Fold, organize, and prepare clean laundry for delivery or storage. Load and unload industrial washers and dryers, including handling large wet laundry loads. Inspect laundry for items that may present safety risks, such as sharps or other biohazards, following established safety protocols. Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and sanitary. Follow all workplace safety and infection-control procedures. Work closely with team members to maintain efficient laundry operations and meet daily production goals.
