# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical – Texas Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, 4 weekend shifts per month required Highlights: - 28-bed Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry capabilities and specialized epilepsy care- Patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1 with collaborative team including Charge Nurses, RNs, and PCTs- EMR system: Meditech- No call requirements- Work with advanced equipment including Video EEG, telemetry monitors, Hoyer lifts, and bladder scanners- Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, and 3 PCTs for comprehensive team support Requirements: - Active RN license- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required- Telemetry experience required- Hospital experience required- 3 or more years of nursing experience strongly preferred- Epilepsy care experience preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a well-established Medical-Surgical unit where teamwork and professional development are priorities.
