Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.Licensed Journeyman or willingness to pursueAt least 5 years related experience working with electrical contractor or in industrial environment or combination of education and experienceRequires the ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and comfortable working with and on ladders.As a Senior Industrial Electrician, you will:Maintains equipment and performs preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled.Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.Dismantles machines or equipment, replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms.Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.Replaces or repairs machine belts.Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.Bends and cuts conduit and wire, and drills holes in walls, floors, and ceilings for electrical connections.Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape.Bends, cuts, and threads pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound.Cuts out and joins parts for worktables, benches, shelves and other furnishings.Patches or replaces plaster or plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of building.Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.Operates all Industrial Maintenance vehicles such as forklift, man lift (boom, scissors) etc.Other duties as assignedHow We Care for You:Financial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings AccountsWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance.Health & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan ("EAP") and other supplemental benefit coverages.Professional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programsCulture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values.
