Driver Recruiter/Field Safety Representative

R.C. Moore, Inc., a leading 3PL company involved in Trucking, Warehousing and Brokerage, is seeking a full-time Driver Recruiter/Field Safety Representative to join our dynamic team at our Pittston, PA location. Established in 1956, we became 100% employee-owned (ESOP)in 2022. We provide a national third-party logistics network to support our various food and beverage providers, and we are passionate about delivering exceptional, timely service to all customers.

JOB OVERVIEW

This role combines driver recruitment, onboarding, training, safety compliance, and driver development to help maintain a safe, professional, and growing fleet. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and passionate about supporting drivers while promoting a strong safety culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruit company drivers and owner-operators through phone outreach, social media, job fairs, and community networking.
• Screen and qualify driver applicants to ensure company standards are met.
• Conduct new driver orientation and onboarding programs.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and compliance requirements.
• Investigate safety incidents and help implement corrective actions.
• Deliver driver training, refresher courses, and Hours of Service compliance education.
• Maintain driver education programs and serve as a liaison between drivers and company departments.
• Travel periodically to support recruiting and safety initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in driver recruitment, safety, compliance, training, or a related field.
• Transportation industry experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Class A CDL is a plus but not required.

EXPERIENCE

• Driver Recruiting and/or Safety: 3 years (Required)
• Transportation Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
