About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Network Management to lead the strategic development and management of a high-performing provider network. The successful candidate will be responsible for the contracting strategy, execution of contracts, and ensuring that the network meets the needs of members in a defined geographic area. This role involves overseeing the strategic planning and execution of contracts to maintain a robust, cost-effective, and comprehensive provider network. The VP will also be tasked with enhancing network performance, improving provider relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving high-quality, cost-effective care delivery. Applicants for the Vice President of Network Management position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive experience in network management, provider relations, or health plan operations, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in provider contracting, negotiations, and building provider relationships, as well as experience in managing large provider networks within a health insurance or managed care setting. The VP will be expected to lead the execution of strategic plans for provider network growth, alignment, and optimization, and to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve these goals. A deep understanding of regulatory standards, industry best practices, and a proven track record of driving results in a network management team are essential.
