Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Occupational Health - Full Time /Day Shift

Job Information Facility: GSS ND Larimore Ctr Shift: 12 Hours – Day Shift (7:00 am – 7:30 pm) Job Schedule: Full time (every other weekend and holiday rotation) Pay: $26+ per hour (depending on experience). Sign‑on bonus of $25,000 ($12,500 paid out after 60 days). Additional shift differentials for weekends. Benefits: Eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage. Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilizing age‑ and population‑specific standards related to residents' physical and psychosocial needs as per care plan. Perform testing and evaluate data reflecting residents' status and provide the care needed. Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents. Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered. Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and diet. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, health care providers, and the public. Work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team. Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, on prevention and treatment plans. Apply resident education principles to develop a self‑care program. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. Must have attended a pre‑licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the lifespan, or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility. For positions requiring IV therapy/management skills, must have graduated from a board‑approved AASPn program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completed an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Currently hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the state nursing board and/or possess multi‑state licensure privileges. Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
