Who we are looking for?The Client Enablement/Solutions Architecture role with a Trading focus at Charles River Development is an active, hands-on role centered on designing and developing product solutions. This professional will offer business leadership and coordinate major product initiatives across multiple departments, covering aspects like design, integration patterns, and implementing new or existing components in collaboration with the product management team. Key duties include creating client solutions using Charles River’s resources and planning future architectural directions for these offerings. The role also serves as an internal advocate for this product area, supporting sales efforts, implementation plans, and overall business development. The Investment Management Solution delivers strong, market leading capabilities to its users.This role aims to deliver middle office solutions for clients and prospects that are thorough, well-rounded, and carefully consider integration strategies with respect to a client’s operating model/footprint.What you will be responsible for?As a Solutions Architect (Trading) within the Client Enablement department, your responsibilities include:Shaping and implementing the firm's strategic vision concerning Trading capabilities and solutions, both through organic growth and partnerships.Providing business leadership, offering design and solution feedback, and coordinating efforts across product and development teams.Contributing to the short- and long-term product roadmap for enhancements.Building relationships as a primary client contact for gathering feedback and evaluating solutions.Assessing potential partnerships and assisting in managing partner relationships within the Alpha Ecosystem.Collaborating with technical and development counterparts to maximize team efficiency and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.Coordinating engagement among Client Management, Sales, Professional Services, Support, and internal stakeholders to boost client satisfaction and drive product adoption.Working closely with Marketing and Product Strategy to ensure the product vision is clearly communicated and understood.Leading medium to large initiatives from inception through completion.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleOver 5 years in product management leadership, focusing on product planning and executionExtensive financial services experience, especially in Trading technology with exposure to order and execution management across all asset classesHands-on Trading experience: order creation, order management, execution management, FIX messaging, post trade, etc.Strong analytical skills: adept at interpreting client needs and designing solutionsFamiliar with asset class behavior across equities, fixed income, FX, OTC securities, private assets, and traditional buy-side asset typesUnderstanding of order management, compliance, data, and portfolio managementKnowledgeable about Agile Software Development LifecycleExcellent communication, organization, team planning, and mobilization abilitiesEducation & Preferred Qualification•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or Business Degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics or related)•Advanced degree preferred - MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA, CIPM)•Prior experience with Charles River IMS or another market leading OEMSAbout State Street:What we do: State Street is one of the largest custodian banks, asset managers and asset intelligence companies in the world.
