Overview LPN / LVN – Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg / MST) Location: Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, ME Full-time | Nights | 7p–7a | 12-Hour Shifts The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care in a dynamic Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg / MST) unit. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), this role supports patient safety, care coordination, and quality outcomes while enhancing the overall patient experience. To learn more, visit Responsibilities Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws Support care plans and patient throughput Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance Document care in EMR/EHR systems Communicate changes in patient condition promptly Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
3. IV certificationandBlood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
4. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
5. Work experience in health care preferred.

Pay Transparency Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.00 to $30.75. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
