Mortgage Assistant - Full Time

We are currently seeking motivated and member-oriented individuals to join our team as a Mortgage Assistant. Job Summary We are seeking a Mortgage Assistant to provide service assistance to members and the mortgage department by answering inquiries and researching and resolving issues. Key Responsibilities Greets and welcomes members and guests. Answers inquiries regarding general information on mortgage products. Processes departmental mail and scans loan file documents. Processes approved invoices and maintains departmental file retentions process. Orders verification of employment for all loans going to closing. Prepares daily Trigger's report for Mortgage Loan Originators. Updates and creates departmental reports and the daily rate sheet on the intranet. Ensures paid-off mortgage loans are released in an accurate and timely manner. Types notices to county government offices. Posts the receipt of funds into the appropriate general ledger and maintains spreadsheet of department bills. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. One year to two years of similar or related experience, preferably in the mortgage/lending industry. Exceptional customer service experience. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
