Controller
We are seeking a hands-on Controller to join our clients growing company. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations while providing accurate financial reporting and supporting the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where they will actively participate in the accounting function rather than solely overseeing it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments.
• Produce monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and analysis that support business decisions.
• Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.
• Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls to support company growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
• Experience with job costing and rate-of-pay management is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work hands-on and manage detailed accounting responsibilities.
