Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and interviews to evaluate the emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting students’ mental health.

• Provide counseling services to students facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and family dynamics.

• Work closely with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.

• Facilitate referrals to community resources such as support groups, vocational rehabilitation, housing assistance, and additional therapeutic services as needed.

• Educate students and their families on available community resources and guide them through post-rehabilitation services.

• Participate in discharge planning and help facilitate students’ transitions back to their home environment, ensuring continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate records through electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and share innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement.
