Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and interviews to evaluate the emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting students’ mental health. \n
- Provide counseling services to students facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and family dynamics. \n
- Work closely with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student. \n
- Facilitate referrals to community resources such as support groups, vocational rehabilitation, housing assistance, and additional therapeutic services as needed. \n
- Educate students and their families on available community resources and guide them through post-rehabilitation services. \n
- Participate in discharge planning and help facilitate students’ transitions back to their home environment, ensuring continuity of care. \n
- Maintain accurate records through electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and share innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement. \n
The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents within a school environment, addressing a range of issues from academic stress and social anxiety to family-related difficulties and behavioral concerns. - Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program. \n
