A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, providing coverage from August 3rd through August 7th. This position involves first shift hours, running from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, utilizing Pioneer software to support daily pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of pharmaceuticals to all customers under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Counseling and advising patients on their medication regimens, promoting adherence and understanding.
• Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, adhering to organizational policies.
• Maintaining stock levels, managing controlled drug records, and conducting inventory checks to ensure compliance and availability.
• Resolving patient issues and clarifying third-party insurance coverage to facilitate smooth medication access.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Experience with medication dispensing and patient counseling.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, preferably Pioneer.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive patient interactions.
• Attention to detail in maintaining records and inventory control.
