PRN Occupational TherapistLocation: Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, and surrounding area!Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour base rate, $50-$70 per visit (different rates for evaluations, starts of care, discharges, resumption of care, recertification visits)Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? Join our dedicated home health team and help clients regain independence in the comfort of their own homes.General Purpose: As an Occupational Therapist with Interim HealthCare in Mechanicsburg, you will provide essential therapy services to treat physical impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, and changes in physical function associated with our patients' health status. Your interventions will be in accordance with the patient's plan of care and accepted professional standards, ensuring quality treatment that promotes optimal patient outcomes.Occupational Therapist Essential Functions:Evaluate and treat clients in their home environmentRegularly assess patient status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.Educate and counsel patients and families to promote understanding with treatment goals.Document clinical findings and treatment progress accurately and timely.Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, and family membersOccupational Therapist Requirements:Current license as an Occupational Therapist in PAPreferred: At least two years of relevant experience within the last five years.Reliable transportationCPR CertificationCompassionate, organized, and self-motivatedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Current CPR certification.Proficient with computer applications and documentation systems.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.Working Conditions:Travel within the geographic area serviced by the office is required.Work is primarily conducted in residential settings or facilities.Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transferring patients.Interim HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
