Local CDL A Driver Day Shift

Overview Central Transport is currently seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at our location in Detroit, MI. Central Transport is one of the nation's most trusted and technologically advanced Less‑Than‑Truckload (LTL) carriers. With an ever‑growing network of terminals nationwide, our team of dedicated professionals provide safe and efficient service to the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free. This role provides consistent routes while operating modern equipment, with a home every night. Responsibilities Drive local pick up and delivery routes, delivering freight on time and damage free. Unload trailer upon completion of the daily route. Qualifications 3 months of recent tractor‑trailer experience. HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days. Acceptable motor vehicle record with no DUI’s within the last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime). Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test. Benefits Industry‑leading pay.
