Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and afib
• Manage responsibilities such as BiPAP, high flow oxygen, and trach care
• Execute chest tube management and central line care
• Administer drips including milrinone and heparin
• Facilitate PIV starts, wound/skin care, and blood product administration
• Utilize cardiac monitor/telemetry and offer proactive patient status surveillance

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Vistelar training specific to the facility
• Minimum 1 year of overall nursing experience and 6 months in neuro
• Proficient in using Cerner EMR
