OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Lenexa, KS by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate long-haul dry‑van lanes nationwide from Lenexa, KS as an experienced OTR solo CDL‑A driver for HMD. Expect predictable freight, strong mileage pay starting at 65 CPM and weekly averages near 2,500 miles, plus safety, inspection, and referral bonuses.

Equipment & Support: Late‑model tractors (under 3 years) with APUs, inverters and sleepers, backed by dependable in‑house maintenance to minimize downtime.

Your responsibilities:

• Safely transport freight to assigned terminals and customers.
• Keep accurate logs, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain clean inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch to plan efficient routes.

Home every two weeks with full health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k) benefits. CDL‑A and 12 months verifiable driving experience required.
