IDAR Summer Intern (DM CM)

Johnson & Johnson seeks undergraduate interns for a 12-week summer program (May-August 2027) supporting clinical data management and data acquisition in drug development. Interns will gain hands-on experience with clinical trials, data management processes, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across three New Jersey and Pennsylvania locations.
Responsibilities
- Execute assigned clinical trial activities in compliance with SOPs, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Support scientific data review and manage query resolution within Electronic Data Capture systems
- Assist with EDC system setup, maintenance, and best-practice implementation for assigned trials
- Contribute to process improvement and innovation projects aligned with strategic priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in data management, clinical development, and related functions
Requirements
- Completed freshman year at accredited university; pursuing bachelor's in science, data science, statistics, or related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher across all college coursework
- Enrolled in undergraduate program during internship; must not graduate during the 12-week period
- Permanent U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship required now or in future
- Ability to work hybrid model: three days onsite (NJ or PA) and two days remote; responsible for own transportation
- Familiarity with data review, analysis, or quality activities preferred
- Experience with Electronic Data Capture systems or Medidata Rave platform preferred
