Registered Nurse - Trauma / Stroke / Chest Pain

This is a midshift position from 14:15 to 03:45, with no call and no floating requirements. Guaranteed hours per week are 36.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team specializing in trauma, stroke, and chest pain care. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care in a unit with a 4:1 patient ratio. The unit features 10 rooms and 19 beds/chairs, utilizing the MEDHOST EMR system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and support in trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and perform necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC).
• Travel experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in trauma, stroke, or chest pain care.
