Production Controller

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Controller to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining production flow by ensuring materials are available, resolving production blockers, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to keep schedules on track. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating with teams across production, inventory, logistics, planning, and quality. This role is highly visible on the production floor and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Schedule Options: Schedule placement will be determined based on business needs and candidate preference where possible.

• Day Shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST)
• Front Half Days (FHD): Sunday - Wednesday (2 openings)
• Back Half Days (BHD): Wednesday - Saturday (2 openings)
• Night Shift (5:00 PM - 3:30 AM PST)
• Front Half Nights (FHN): Sunday - Wednesday (1 opening)
• Back Half Nights (BHN): Wednesday - Saturday (1 opening)

100% onsite in Redmond, WA. Candidates must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and standing or walking for extended periods throughout their shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary production control resource supporting daily manufacturing operations.
• Monitor material shortages, work-in-progress (WIP) constraints, and production bottlenecks.
• Partner with planning, inventory, logistics, purchasing, and quality teams to maintain production continuity.
• Support execution of production schedules and escalate risks that could impact delivery timelines.
• Coordinate material movement and staging activities to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material transactions within ERP, MRP, or MES systems.
• Participate in daily operational meetings and communicate production status, blockers, and key priorities.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, solve problems, and drive process improvements.
• Support workplace organization, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Communicate effectively across multiple teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, supply chain, or operations environments.
• Experience using ERP, MRP, or MES systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision making.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience supporting production control, material control, inventory management, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• Exposure to high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, electronics, semiconductor, warehouse, or fulfillment operations.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
