Our Powder Coaters are a pivotal players in the production of finished products for various customers and uses our skills and experience to apply accurate finishes to a variety of manufactured products for our customers. Our Ideal Candidate IsPassionate about excellence , sets high standards for themselves and commitment to delivering quality workDetailed focused to the point of extremeDedicated to your craft and abilitiesCommitted to tasks from start to finishEnjoys working independently and is self-motivated Job Duties Include Powder coating/priming/masking of manufactured products Produce finished products per the blueprints provided for each production requisition Ensure customer specifications are met Ensure projects are completed on time and production orders are met Ensure consistent finished quality of each item Able to repeat and maintain Provide support to the finishing department as directed by the manager Provide overall manufacturing support as requested. Job Qualifications Highschool degree in general education is preferred but not required. 1 to 2 years’ experience as a finishing powder coating Excellent organizational skills; detailed orientated and able to handle multiple tasks; able to prioritize; able to meet deadlines Able to follow directions Mechanical aptitude Mathematical aptitude Basic computer skills; able to learn software programs Ability/learn to read engineering drawings and work instructions Attention to detail Knowledgeable in setting up/operation of equipment Knowledgeable with powder coat specifications and proper application Must be 18 years of age Able to lift up to 75 pounds Able to stand for a full 8 hour shift The Company Pro-Type Industries, a third-generation family-owned business established in 1969, provides high-quality CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and finishing services from its headquarters in Sterling, VA.
