Weekend Caregiver

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver to support our Southwest territory with weekend coverage in Aurora. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consistent, short evening shifts and is committed to providing high‑quality care.

Schedule:  ​​​​​​Saturdays and Sundays, 4:30 PM–9:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal care, and safety supervision

• Support client with activities of daily living

• Maintain clear communication with office staff

• Uphold Cornerstone Caregiving’s standards of professionalism and reliability

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred

• Reliable transportation to Aurora

• Ability to work both Saturday and Sunday every week

• Strong communication and dependability

Client Care Details – Female Stroke Survivor (Aurora, IL)

Condition: Female stroke victim Care Needs:

• Bathing assistance — full support required

• ADLs support — dressing, grooming, toileting, meal setup

• Oral hygiene: Client is able to brush her own teeth

• Transferring assistance — caregiver must assist with safe transfers

Care Notes:

• Client requires patience, clear communication, and slow, steady movements

• Safety supervision is essential during all mobility tasks

• Caregiver should maintain a calm, supportive environment to reduce fall risk
