Location: On‑site opportunity based in either Chicago, IL or Lisle, IL, with regular in‑office collaboration and flexibility to work remotely part of the week. Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and have at least 2 years of civil litigation experience. Plaintiff or defense backgrounds are both welcome. Confidential Employer. Job Description Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and develop case strategy. Take and defend depositions and participate in discovery. Negotiate settlements and represent clients during mediation. Appear in court for hearings, motions, and other proceedings. Collaborate closely with partners and fellow attorneys on complex litigation matters. Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and strategic legal counsel. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school. Active Illinois Bar license. 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Experience on either the plaintiff or defense side. Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and client relationship abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment. Trial experience strongly preferred.
