Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PICU - $2,414 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Richmond, Virginia. Job Details Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, and maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluates equipment for proper and safe function and reports malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support. Physical Requirements Peds‑RRTs must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 20 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment are required. Qualifications Must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Must hold NBRC–RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. NBRC ACLS BLS NRP PALS 2 Years (experience) Compensation Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
