Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse opportunity available in Waterloo, Iowa. This position involves working in a busy hospital operating room setting with a focus on orthopedic, neuro, gynecologic, and urology procedures. The role requires proficiency in operating DaVinci robotics and the ability to work rotating shifts. The start date is August 10, 2026, with a full-time schedule.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 9.5 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 38 hours
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • 24 months of current operating room experience within a hospital or medical center
  • Proficiency in orthopedic, neuro, gynecology, and urology procedures
  • Experience with DaVinci robotics preferred
  • EPIC charting experience preferred (will train if needed)
  • Scrub experience preferred
  • Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license required
  • BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Drivers license document required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • EPIC charting experience (will train if needed)
  • Scrub experience
• Additional Information:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 months of current travel experience within the previous 18 months
  • No first-time travelers accepted
  • Work history/resume must reflect 24 months of operating room experience
  • Skills checklist specific to operating room nursing required
  • Call schedule includes one shift per week and every 3rd or 4th weekend
  • Holiday work required unless the unit is closed
  • Orientation date scheduled for 8/10
