The role that we need our agency rns to fill will be in the prep/recovery space. Pacu and ed nurses would be successful. We would ideally want them to have some gi knowledge so they are able to provide education to patients.

no call, weekends, holidays

procedure monitoring experience is a must

will float within service line

needs experience in pre and post recovery of gi patients.

required skills: starting ivs, recover monitored anesthesia care sedation

preferred skills: outpatient endoscopy center, pre/post procedure

2 years experience required

will not accept first time travelers

bcls, acls required

epic required

type of facility: short term acute care

magnet / teaching / level trauma (if applicable): magnet & teaching hospital / level i trauma center

total staffed beds: 1,266

scrub color: navy blue

charting: epic (required)

parking cost: monthly parking passes available. travelers can reach out to public safety for parking passed and speak with them about what is available.

for orientation: park in the laclede garage (4929 forest park ave, st. louis mo. 63108) for which there is a $15.00 charge. pull a parking ticket and take with you. barnes does not validate or reimburse for the charge.

if you are working a straight night shift: if you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation).

if you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. the garage that you will be parking in will be clayton/taylor ave location. bring your license plate number with you on your first day.
