Overview A Nurse Practitioner is needed for the Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders (LCBCD). This position supports the mission to expand services with a focused initiative dedicated to care of patients with blood disorders. The clinic will serve as a resource for primary and specialty providers throughout Louisiana who refer patients with complex bleeding and clotting disorders. A Nurse Practitioner with experience in pediatric/family health care is essential to establishing a comprehensive care clinic. Responsibilities Collaborate with the LCBCB team to provide exemplary care for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. Contribute to establishing and operating a comprehensive care clinic serving primary and specialty providers across the state. Provide care for patients across the lifespan, with emphasis on hematologic conditions, within the clinic model. Support the federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center framework and coordinate care with related services. Qualifications Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in pediatric or family health care. Ability to work within a comprehensive care model for hematologic conditions. Willingness to collaborate with clinicians across multiple locations (New Orleans, Metairie, Lafayette, Alexandria). #J-18808-Ljbffr Tulane University School of Medicine
