Medical Assistant

Endoscopy - GI Technician Greenville, NC

Pay From: $19 per hour

MUST: Experienced Endoscopy Technician

2+ year of experience in an endoscopy setting

Providing patient care

Experience assisting with endoscopy procedures

Experience turning over and preparing endo suites

Maintaining and ordering inventory and supplies for endo procedures

Reprocessing and cleaning equipment and instruments

EMR Documentation

Knowledge of aseptic technique

HS diploma

DUTIES:

Assist providers with diagnostic and or therapeutic endoscopy procedures

Anticipate the needs of the provider during procedures

Provide patient care

Ensure all instrumentation and supplies are ready prior to procedures

Stock and clean rooms

Assist with monitoring patients and alert clinical staff of any change in status

Assist with specimen retrieval

Label all medications and specimens

Clean and reprocess scopes and equipment

Assist with room turn-over and clean up including changing linens, and trash removal

Demonstrate principles of aseptic techniques
