Associate Director, BI&T Technical Engineering Lead - Analytics & AI, Drug Development

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director and Technical Engineering Lead to drive technology strategy, architecture, and delivery for analytics and AI platforms supporting Clinical Operations and Drug Development. The role leads cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and data specialists while advancing platform modernization and enterprise integration.

Responsibilities

Define and execute technology strategy and roadmap for Clinical Operations Intelligence platforms
Lead cross-functional engineering teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Own target-state architecture for GDO Workbench and related platforms; drive modernization initiatives
Partner with data and enterprise teams to deliver integrated analytics, AI insights, and decision-support capabilities
Present technology recommendations, risks, and investment opportunities to senior leadership; guide governance decisions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
12+ years leading technology platforms, digital products, or enterprise applications
5+ years managing cross-functional technology teams in leadership roles
Proven track record developing and executing technology roadmaps
Experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
