Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting customer orders for assigned order streams, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders and related functions to effectively fulfill customer requirements to support company growth, profitability and customer satisfaction expectations.
This position reports to the Director of Service, and will work on-site at the Milwaukee, WI corporate headquarters.
Job Responsibilities:
Primary duties:
•
Order entry and quoting of spare parts.
•
Primary phone support for spare parts.
•
Create spare parts list from bill of materials with selection of typical replacement components.
•
Work with customers to expedite spare parts for breakdowns in the field.
•
Update excess and obsolete inventory list for sale via eBay or similar platforms.
•
Review cost and pricing for margin that is below target.
•
For lower value items, perform part & vendor setup in business system to facilitate timely order entry.
•
Act as gatekeeper for incoming general emails and redirect as instructed.
Secondary duties:
•
Provide backup to other customer service reps on vacation, etc.
•
Perform clerical functions of service receiving and service order processing.
•
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•
Minimum 2 years of related experience, with experience in a manufacturing environment being strongly preferred.
•
Computer experience with Microsoft products such as word, excel, etc.
•
Excellent communication skills with strong attention to details and follow-up skills.
•
Able to work with customers and handle order input, phone support and other customer requests.
•
Familiarity with IFS, bill of material structures, and queries/quick reports a plus.
•
High school diploma is bare minimum.
•
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
•
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across various functions.
