This is a part time 12 hour night shift with every third weekend and a holiday rotation. Targeting start date in May 2026.

Seeking candidates with minimum of 1 year NICU RN experience to be considered for part time schedule. Orientation will be full time for up to 6 months depending on experience level and could be on any shift based on preceptor assignments.

Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience). A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. NRP certification within 1 year of employment.

Job Summary: Performs as a partner in the care management team. Provides coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care. Delegates patient care activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Functions within professional and hospital standards.

Education: Associate's Degree ADN required. Bachelor's Degree BSN preferred.

Experience: 2+ years nursing experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the principles of neonatal, pediatric and adolescent growth and development and child/family responses to fear, illness, injury and hospitalization. Previous pediatric and/or medical surgery experience preferred. Analytical skills necessary to assess complex patient conditions effectively and to develop comprehensive plans of care. Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers. Ability to represent the organization and serve consumers in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services. Mental and sensory abilities to read, process and interpret clinical data. Ability to communicate with families and work with families under stress. Ability to coordinate and deliver complex care utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. Ability to operate, trouble-shoot, and interpret a wide variety of patient care equipment.

Licenses and Certifications: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required. + one of the following: License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin, License RN-Registered Nurse (NE Compact) - State of Nebraska - State of Nebraska, License RN-Registered Nurse (TN Compact) - State of Tennessee, NRPI-Neonatal Resuscitate Provider Instructor - American Academy of Pediatrics/American Heart Association, NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - American Academy of Pediatrics/American Heart Association.
