Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialties in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Key functions include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage case and hospice care for patients with advancing age, frailty, and serious illness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care settings.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.
- Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
- Additional certifications related to specialty nursing areas.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- May require on-call availability and flexibility to work various shifts depending on patient needs.
- Field work may require travel using personal automobile.
- Work schedule and shifts will be assigned based on facility needs and patient care requirements.
- May include day, evening, night, weekend, or holiday shifts.
