Technical Project Manager
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support a new, large-scale government cloud initiative delivering a secure, hybrid Microsoft Azure environment (on-prem + cloud). This is a program-level role focused on driving execution across multiple technical workstreams within a highly regulated enterprise environment.
This role requires strong governance discipline, cloud fluency (conceptual Azure knowledge), and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate across 7-8 technical workstreams (2-3 assigned per PM)
• Drive execution across Cloud Engineering, Identity & Access, Security, Network, Database, and Risk & Compliance teams
• Own RAID management, milestone tracking, and change control
• Provide executive-level reporting and risk escalation
• Remove blockers and enforce accountability
• Ensure operational readiness and structured handoff to support teams
• Maintain documentation in Jira and Confluence

Required Experience

• 8+ years of enterprise project management experience
• Experience delivering large-scale cloud programs (Azure strongly preferred)
• Strong governance and executive reporting background
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams
• Conceptual understanding of Azure architecture and hybrid deployments
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence

Preferred

• Government program experience
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, or compliance-driven environments
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification
• Technical background transitioning into project management
