Experienced Hands-On Developers Needed Our partner is seeking experienced hands-on developers to deliver mission-critical solutions across several key engagements within a growing, multi-year portfolio. The ideal candidates must demonstrate strong technical proficiency in building, testing, and deploying solutions, with direct hands-on development experience. This is not an oversight role, they need a technical practitioner who can write code, troubleshoot issues, and deliver working solutions. The role requires flexibility to be onsite up to 5 days per week when necessary. Though, typical onsite expectations average 2-3 days per week. Candidates should be prepared to adjust their onsite schedule based on project phases and customer needs. Requirements: TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance Local to Fort Meade area 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer Cloud/AWS experience: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): CDK (preferred) or Terraform Programming languages: Python, Typescript Core services: Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB Security: IAM, VPC, KMS Networking: Network segmentation, Routing, Network security, Hybrid Networking (S2S, VPN and/or Direct Connect), DNS Understanding, Load Balancing CI/CD: CodePipeline, Gitlab CICD Monitoring: CloudWatch, OpenSearch Architecture and DevOps Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS Serverless/microservice patterns: Lambda, SQS, SNS Security best practices Desired Skills: Experience with AWS Landing Zone Accelerator UI Development experience AWS Bedrock experience Active Sec+ certification About Us: For more than 20 years, NewGen Technologies has solved our clients' toughest IT challenges with integrity, security, and outstanding service by delivering both technology and talent.
