Position Overview
J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a busy specialty office in Windham, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable and patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Document patient information accurately in Epic
- Coordinate patient flow and support daily office operations
- Schedule appointments and manage clinical communications
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required
- Experience using Epic preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting
- Monday-Friday schedule
- No weekends
