Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer near Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities:

• Continuous improvement on current manufacturing processes to improve efficiency
• Define new product manufacturing tooling and assembly line process and integrate into existing production system
• Utilize Industrial Engineering tools for operations and layout analysis; including time studies, ergonomic assessments, and throughput improvement
• Provide technical direction to and oversight of suppliers during design and fabrication of new tooling 
• Support installation, tryout, and debug of tooling and equipment at the assembly plant
• Support new vehicle build events and launch at assembly plant

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a process/manufacturing engineer
• Experience with tooling, assembly, both automation and manual processes
• Experience in the automotive industry - OEM or Tier 1 supplier
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with medium level of autonomy and high accountability for results (may work under the direction of a more seasoned process engineer)
• Demonstrated ability in project management skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Murfreesboro, TN.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
