Manufacturing client in Porterville area is seeking a qualified TIG/MIG welder for immediate placement. Temp-to-hire with great benefits! Job Description:
The right person will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels on welded / fabricated parts and keeping a clean & safe work area. Will work independently and together with other employees in designing welding and manufacturing fixtures/ jigs for all company products.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong in TIG welding of stainless steel (min. of 3 years' experience)
- Strong in MIG welding of mild steel & stainless steel (min. of 3 years' experience)
- xperience working on Horizontal band saw to cut material to length
- Experience with Ironworker, shearing and punching holes in material
- Able to grind, wire brush and clean material for welding
- Need to read, interpret and produce parts from engineering drawings
- Understands how to use a drill press
- Mechanical & technical aptitude is necessary Quality and detail oriented individual is a must
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to work 8+ hours a day and some Saturdays Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Forklift certification is a plus
