Job Openings
The Board of Directors of the Shamokin Area School District will receive applications for the following non-instructional positions:
1 - Full-Time: 7.5 Hrs./Day for 180 Days
1 - Part-Time: 6 Hrs./Day for 180 Days
May require: Bending, stooping and lifting 75-100 pounds daily
Must possess current CPR and First Aid certification (or receive in-district)
Possession of Safe Crisis Management (or receive in-district)
Must complete a minimum of 20 hours of Professional Development annually
Required to ride transportation to and from school with student(s)
Grade 1 on Salary Schedule or based on experience, Minimum $14.50/hour
*Autistic Classroom requires training in ABA and Autism
(*Associates degree (or higher) or 48 post-secondary education credits and/or successful completion of a paraprofessional training program and can demonstrate through state or local assessment knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and mathematics.)
