• Shift: 7.5 24-hour shifts/month (minimum of 5.5 shifts considered)
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40-60 hours
• Employment Type: Full-time
• License/Certs: Active Texas medical license (or eligible)
• Experience: Prior OB/GYN or hospitalist experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

• Compensation: $135/hour (~$292,000/year when working full schedule)

What You’ll Do

• Manage a diverse OB/GYN caseload in a Level II NICU setting
• Attend and assist with deliveries, including vaginal and C-section births
• Handle OB triage and outpatient consultations
• Collaborate with neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine specialists on high-risk pregnancies
• Conduct OBED consults and manage inpatient admissions
• Respond to emergencies in labor, delivery, and GYN emergencies
• Participate in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections
• Provide coverage for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage

What You Need

Required:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Ability to start ASAP

Preferred:

• Prior hospitalist or OB/GYN practice experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
