Job Summary A fast-paced corporate office in Temecula, CA is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys high-volume financial work, process improvement, training, documentation, and cross-functional support. The Accounting Operations Specialist will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close, reconciling accounts, improving department workflows, and helping build scalable training resources and SOPs. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile financial and banking accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures. Support daily accounting operations including reconciliations, data entry, vendor communication, reporting, banking, accounts payable, payroll, and financial documentation. Research and resolve discrepancies while maintaining compliance with company policies, accounting principles, internal controls, and confidentiality standards. Develop, update, and standardize SOPs, training materials, reference guides, and simplified process instructions for corporate and field users. Provide onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing employees on procedures, systems, and department workflows. Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, cross-training efforts, and departmental coverage during employee absences. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity. Location: Temecula, CA. Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Standard schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
