You will have the opportunity to proactively solve unique problems and build software and systems that act as force multipliers for our development teams. This is an amazing opportunity for you to own core services architecture and develop your system design capabilities. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!This is a US-based remote role.What You'll DoDesign and implement scalable, robust APIs in Golang that power our main applicationsEnforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation across the teamTroubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in both development and production environmentsContribute to architectural discussions and strategic planning for our backend ecosystemBe diligent, curious, and take complete ownership of your code end-to-end with a clear sense of urgency.Leverage data-driven insights to refine system performance and functionalityDrive data-informed decisions by leveraging analytics to refine system performanceCollaborate closely with Product and Design teams to shape innovative featuresWhat You'll BringDemonstrated workplace proficiency in at least one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, or similar)Degree in-or experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering.Strong understanding of database design and modeling (e.g., PostgreSQL)Proven track record developing scalable systems and RESTful servicesExperience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processesUnderstanding of automated testing, deployment processes, and toolsBias toward action - iteratively creating solutions and deploying to production frequentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel to our NYC office a few times a yearWhat's In It For YouJoin a trailblazing robotics and AI company building the future of recoveryMedical, vision, and dental insurance covered by us401k with up to a 4% company matchFlexible paid time off and a generous parental leave policyWorking late?
