Reports To: Program Director / Assistant Program Director - Supervises: Clinicians About Family Services of America Family Services of America (FSA) is a CARF-accredited behavioral health and child welfare organization and a licensed foster care agency in the state of North Carolina, headquartered in North Carolina. FSA provides trauma-informed, evidence-based care to children and families, including licensed foster care and therapeutic foster care, case management, clinical and behavioral health services, and wraparound supports. The Opportunity The Lead Clinician oversees clinical services and supervises and trains clinical staff for FSA's foster care program, ensuring child-facing behavioral health services are delivered on-site and in a confidential manner. Please note: This is a grant-funded, term-limited position for up to three years. Continuation is contingent on grant funding. What You Will Own Oversee the delivery of clinical and behavioral health services, ensuring services are provided on-site and confidentially. Train and supervise Clinicians and behavioral health staff, ensuring completion of relevant training on evidence-based practices. Ensure implementation of evidence-based, trauma-informed models (TF-CBT, SPARCS, TFTC) appropriate to the population. Support maintenance of clinical staffing ratios and confidential, child-facing service delivery. Oversee crisis intervention and safety screening protocols in coordination with case management and medical staff. Participate in clinical quality assurance, case staffing, and documentation review in the EHR. Required Qualifications Master's or doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or another relevant behavioral health discipline from an accredited program where clinical experience is required, including two (2) years of post-graduate direct-service experience. Must be fully licensed and in good standing to provide clinical services in North Carolina as an LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT. Clinical supervisory experience required, including the ability to support, train, and monitor Clinicians providing trauma-informed services to children and families. Must be at least 21 years of age. Employment is contingent on successful completion of all required background checks and credentialing, including FBI fingerprint, state repository, child abuse and neglect, and sex offender registry checks, and proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable respiratory diseases. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing clinical leadership in a foster care or child welfare setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Certification/training in TF-CBT, SPARCS, EMDR, or other trauma-focused modalities. Additional North Carolina clinical credentials or approved clinical supervisor status preferred. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $74,800 - $88,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
