Med-Surg Adult Nurse

Primarily a surgical department with some medical overlap due to bed availability to meet patient needs. Agency shifts are generally scheduled for every other weekend. The management is open to discussing holiday requests. The floor consists of 35 private patient rooms with two nurse stations. There is a shift supervisor on duty. The nurse-to-patient ratio on the night shift is 1:5-6. Patient care technicians are available on the department for each shift.
