What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting individualized care plans
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses independently or in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Empowering patients and families through education on wellness, preventive care, and health management
• Prescribing medications and treatments pertinent to your licensure scope
• Managing patient follow-ups and chronic care effectively

• Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Missouri
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
