Your Role and Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and devise personalized therapy strategies that support their functional goals
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply best practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in close collaboration with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers about effective therapy techniques to encourage progress at home
• Track and Adjust Treatment Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify therapeutic approaches as necessary, ensuring every patient remains on their path to recovery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continued professional development and certifications are highly encouraged and supported

Licensing and Certification

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in New York
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required
