Role Description The Housing Consultant is a full-time, on-site role located in Alvin, TX, responsible for guiding customers through the home-buying process from initial inquiry to closing. In this role, the consultant meets with prospective buyers, assesses their needs, and presents suitable factory-built home options, features, and upgrades. The position includes preparing quotes, explaining financing and insurance options, coordinating with internal teams such as sales, finance, and production, and ensuring accurate documentation for each transaction. The Housing Consultant also follows up with leads, maintains a clean and welcoming sales environment, and uses CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline and customer records. Providing clear, respectful communication and building long-term relationships with customers are key aspects of the role, along with adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Customer-focused sales skills, including needs assessment, consultative selling, and relationship building. Strong communication abilities, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional written correspondence. Basic financial literacy to explain pricing, financing options, and insurance products in an accessible manner. Organizational and administrative skills for managing documentation, scheduling, and CRM or sales systems. Ability to work on-site full time in Alvin, TX, including some evenings or weekends as business needs require. Previous experience in housing, real estate, home sales, or a related customer-facing industry is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is a plus.
