Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12, Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, with holiday rotation. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various hospital departments. The position requires recent critical care experience and the ability to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret arterial blood gases.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and other procedures as necessary.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provide patient education on respiratory care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT).
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
