Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience for a 13-week contract in East Portland, OR and surrounding areas.

Details

• Home health setting serving East Portland, OR and surrounding areas
• 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patient visits per day; standard productivity expectation of 30 points per day
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week (4x10 and 3x12 schedules are not available)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating between facilities within the state of Oregon is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Travel radius of up to approximately 60 miles per day (roughly 60–90 minutes total drive time); system groups clients to minimize windshield time
• Charting via Epic Remote Client on laptop and Rover phone app; OASIS documentation also required
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates within a 50–75 mile radius are considered local and are eligible at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health PT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• OASIS experience required
• Valid PT license required; pending license accepted
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Business casual attire required; scrubs are permitted but not required, no specific color, no jeans
• Free parking available
• Mileage reimbursement provided at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the submitting facility
• Minimal RTO is preferred; any time-off requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
