Instrumentation & Controls Technician II

Instrumentation and Controls Technician II Keystone Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to join our team of instrumentation and controls specialists. Required Qualifications 5 years of experience in water/wastewater I&C systems, with at least 2‑4 years in a technician role High school diploma required, a 2‑year degree or certification in Instrumentation & Controls or related field is a plus Valid driver's license required Proficiency in electrical wiring of power and control equipment Ability to understand electrical schematics and make field revisions and records for power distribution and control circuits Skilled in electrical and mechanical equipment installation, and the use of electrical and electronic test equipment Knowledge of radio and cellular communication systems Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently and meet deadlines on an ongoing basis Flexibility in adapting to changing and challenging situations Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills Responsibilities Perform installation and calibration of sensors, flow meters, level transmitters, control panels, power distribution equipment, and other instrumentation Troubleshoot I&C equipment, including wiring, electrical circuits, and sensors Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations Maintain accurate records of maintenance and service activities Interpret, troubleshoot and document control panel schematics Field PLC control panel wiring Perform variable frequency drive installation and startup Troubleshoot digital and analog I/O circuits Understand and wire motor control circuits Test power systems, control systems and instrumentation Travel to client sites by personal or company vehicle and be available for occasional after‑hours client support and overnight travel Benefits Hybrid Work Schedule for Most Positions* (note: does not apply for this position) Training, professional development and career pathing Casual dress code Employee referral bonus Health benefits Company‑paid life insurance and short‑ and long‑term disability Paid time off Holidays 401(k) plan Pet friendly environment Keystone Engineering Group, Inc. does not sponsor employment visas for any positions.
