Job Description

Looking for a fun job where you actually make a difference?

Little Otters Swim School is growing, and we're looking for an energetic, reliable, and confident swimmer to join our team immediately . If you have a background in swimming, water polo, competitive swim, lifeguarding, or coaching, we'd love to hear from you.

We are hiring right away and can begin training immediately.

Pay

$25–$30 per hour (DOE)

Approximately 20 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours as we continue to grow.

Required Schedule

Applicants must be available for:

Saturdays (Required)
Friday (approximately 6-hour shift)
Two additional weekday shifts (approximately 6 hours each)
Ability to help cover shifts when needed

If you cannot work Saturdays, please do not apply.

Preferred Qualifications

We're especially interested in applicants with experience in:

Competitive swimming
Swim team
Water polo
Lifeguarding
Swim coaching
Teaching children
Childcare or youth programs

Don't have teaching experience? That's okay. If you're a strong swimmer with a great attitude, we'll teach you our proven lesson program.

What You'll Be Doing

Teach private one-on-one swim lessons
Help children become safe and confident in the water
Build positive relationships with families
Create a fun, encouraging learning environment

Requirements

Strong swimming ability
Positive attitude and high energy
Dependable and punctual
Excellent with children
Professional appearance and communication
Must successfully pass a background check
Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification immediately after hire (we'll help guide you through the process)
